The Story Behind Our 2026 World Cup Candle Collection
When the 2026 FIFA World Cup was announced for Dallas, we knew we had to do something special.
Not just a candle with a soccer label slapped on it. Something that actually captured the energy of this city, this moment, and the people who make Dallas what it is.
So we did something we'd never done before: we let Dallas help create it.
Designed From the Heart of Dallas, Texas
This collection wasn't created in a corporate office or a fragrance lab somewhere far away. It was created right here — in Dallas, Texas — by Dallas people.
Two of the four scents in this collection were designed by real Dallas locals who sat down together, explored dozens of fragrance notes, and built something from scratch during one of our candle making classes. Their creativity, their instincts, and their connection to this city are literally baked into every candle.
The other two scents were personally selected by Emilio — chosen to complete the story of a World Cup night in Dallas.
Every single candle in this collection is a product of Dallas. From the heart of this city, for the world's biggest stage.
How This Collection Was Born
At You Me & Emilio, we host candle making experiences — hands-on workshops where we come to your location, set up everything, and guide you through the art of creating your own hand-poured soy candle. It's one of our favorite things we do.
Earlier this year, we brought a group of Dallas locals together for one of our classes. And instead of just teaching them how to make candles, we gave them a challenge: help us create the scent for our World Cup collection.
They rose to the occasion.
Two of the four candles in this collection — Match 101 and the 2026 World Cup candle — were born in that room, from the creative instincts of real Dallas people who sat down, smelled dozens of fragrance notes, and built something from scratch.
The other two — Match 78 and Match 93 — were Emilio's personal selections. Scents chosen because they felt right for the energy of a World Cup night in Dallas.
Together, the four candles tell a complete story of this city and this tournament.

2026 World Cup — Limited Edition Soy Candle
Scent: Cucumber Water · Melon · White Orchid

This one opens with bright, airy freshness — zesty lime and ozone that instantly evoke the feeling of stepping into a stadium under open skies. The heart is a spa-like blend of cucumber water and honeydew melon, hydrating and uplifting. The base settles into bamboo, aloe, and a whisper of white orchid — soft, elegant, and refined.
It's the scent of anticipation. The calm before kickoff. The feeling of 80,000 people holding their breath at the same moment.

2026 Dallas World Cup Night – Match 101 — Limited Edition Soy Candle
Scent: Mandarin · Lemon · Bergamot · Ginger · Jasmine · White Tea · Frosted Cranberry
Created by Dallas locals in our candle making class.
Match 101 is the final. The biggest game of the tournament. And the Dallas locals who created this scent captured that energy perfectly.
It opens with zesty mandarin and lemon — bright, electric, alive. Bergamot and ginger bring warmth and complexity in the middle. Then it settles into soft jasmine and white tea, with a hint of frosted cranberry that adds just enough sweetness to feel like a celebration.
This is the candle you light when everything is on the line.
2026 Dallas World Cup Night – Match 93 — Limited Edition Soy Candle
Scent: Baccarat Rouge Type — Orange Citrus · Jasmine · Amber · Musk

I chose Baccarat Rouge for Match 93 because this scent has a quality that very few fragrances possess: it commands a room without demanding attention.
Warm, sophisticated, and deeply elegant — it opens with fresh orange citrus, moves into jasmine, and settles into amber and musk. It's the kind of scent that makes people stop and ask what is that?
Match 93 is a semifinal-level game. High stakes, refined energy, unforgettable. This candle matches that perfectly.
2026 Dallas World Cup Night – Match 78 — Limited Edition Soy Candle
Scent: Pink Sugar — Cotton Candy · Vanilla · Soft Florals · Warm Caramel

Pink Sugar is pure celebration.
Light cotton candy, sweet vanilla, soft florals, and warm caramel — it's the scent of a goal being scored, of the crowd erupting, of pure joy filling a stadium. It's playful and bold and completely unapologetic about it.
I chose this one because the World Cup isn't just about tension and high stakes. It's also about joy. About the moments when your team scores and you forget everything else for a few seconds.
Match 78 is that candle.
Why This Collection Is Different
There are a lot of World Cup products out there right now. Most of them are generic — a soccer ball graphic, a flag, a label.
This collection is different because it was made here, by us, with Dallas in it. Two of these scents exist because Dallas people sat in a room together, experimented with fragrance notes, and created something they were proud of. That's not something you can replicate in a factory.
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using 100% natural soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. They're limited edition — when they're gone, they're gone.
